The problem turnkey actually solves
Buy a scanner and you receive a pre-installation manual. It tells you what the room must achieve — and then tells you to appoint a structural engineer, an electrical engineer and an HVAC design engineer, and makes you responsible for electrical materials and for floor loading along the delivery route.
So the owner, usually a radiologist or a first-time centre operator, ends up personally sourcing and sequencing a civil contractor, a structural consultant, an electrical contractor, an earthing vendor, a shielding vendor, a lead door fabricator, an RF shielding company, an HVAC contractor and an interiors contractor. Each holds one piece. None of them owns the interfaces between the pieces — and the interfaces are where projects fail.

Modalities
Our approach adapts to the equipment and the site. We work across CT, MRI, Cathlab, PET-CT and SPECT-CT environments. Cathlab and nuclear imaging environments bring their own interfaces — ceiling-suspended loads, specialist services, and in nuclear imaging, handling and storage considerations that shape the layout from the outset.

RADbuild is led by a qualified civil engineer with experience working with global real estate firms including JLL, and turnkey project management experience gained at GE Healthcare.
